That's right. I said it: the most stressful word of Junior year: The A.C.T. Wednesday was the day of this life-sucking test. Juniors were huddled together outside the gym doors, announcing what they had for breakfast. It was pretty humorous to be honest. If you listened to the groups around you, all the conversations were limited to breakfast, bed times, wake up alarms, practice A.C.T. test scores, and, I swear, cupcakes. I'm not entirely sure where the cupcakes came in, but everyone was talking about them. The teachers opened the gym doors and Juniors streamed into the well guarded rooms. Tables were lined up with names printed on a piece of paper, tapped to where you are suppose to sit. It was as if we were maniac criminals taking the A.C.T. Once seated and quiet, which you can imagine took a while, the tests were handed out. In sequential order. Seniors say this is the hardest and most important test; your brain feels like jello afterwards. I was so incredibly nervous for this test I thought I was going to throw up my breakfast of pancakes (made by Laura). After about four hours it was over. I felt so smart when I walked out of that prison cell at 1:30. My dreaded day was over. The A.C.T. is a death calling, time stealing, stress inducing, heck of a test. Preparing for it: Good idea. Freaking out to the extent of melt downs: No need. Now all I need to do is wait 6 whole weeks for my scores. Wonderful.
Life is 24/7 beautiful when looked upon with an optimistic attitude. Stay smiling and singing :)

A most beloved quote
"If there's just one piece of advice I can give you, it's this - when there's something you really want, fight for it, don't give up no matter how hopeless it seems. And when you've lost hope, ask yourself if 10 years from now, you're gonna wish you gave it just one more shot. Because the best things in life, the don't come free." -Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey
